Remember that info is for AC flight connecting to AC flight, it may be different for LX to AC.

Might very well only apply to AC-AC connections. Believe I read somewhere in one of the OSS threads that automatic luggage transfer on domestic connections doesn't work if you don't arrive on AC.

You could also consider AC7975 at 1830hrs to YTZ if you really want to be in Toronto tonight

Glad to hear this situation was resolved - other than the IRROPs issues, and hopefully those work themselves out as well.

Kudos to the cow for helping out yet another FTer in need ^

As a point of info: Last time I flew this exact same combination of flights, I did indeed have to pick up my bags in YUL. This was 1 year ago (Jan 2018), though.

Je suis en YUL.

I have a feeling I might miss the 5pm unless someone has upgraded AC to include flux capacitors.

AC421 was ~40 min late departing too.

So now what? 423 and 427 absolutely out of the question?

There's still the last VIA Rail (No. 669) train departing at 1855 from Dorval!

You should have called her earlier.... Wonder if they rebooked you already for the next available flight out..... (i.e. AC427)
Then again, this is AC not NH or SQ where staff are extremely proactive

Apparently on SBY for tonight but it’s full. And not on the app list. Also got BP for 5am but they said I have to go see LX for a hotel?

If you're not on the list in the app, you're not on standby.

However, if you're in J, you'd show on the "upgrade" list, because it's not actually an upgrade list.

Edit: You're number 5 on the J list, and I actually think there's a reasonable chance you'd clear, because there are no revenue passengers on standby.

Though you may end up in Y.

Edit 2: 6 cleared eUpgrades, and no space to handle IRROPS. Sigh.

who's LX in YUL? Is that Swissport?

Then again, you can now claim credit card travel insurance (if you have one) and possibly EU261......

I just read $$$$$$$$
