Congratulations!

First RCHHMP mention of the year, I believe.

In this thread? Probably.

But not the first mention in this forum this year. And it wasn't from me. :p

Not sure. :p

I saw it mentioned a few times already this year prior to my post above. :)

This thread is awesome today. Thanks for the chuckles.

Also, what is the actual genesis of Royal Canadian High Horse Mounted Police? (the search function at least transated RCHHMP for me)

Paging @yyznomad... Since you coined it, you should elaborate :)

.....

You're welcome. :D At least for my kick-start of the day here with the luggage that follows you around.

As @Adam Smith said, @yyznomad is the owner of RCHHMP.

(I do recall paging them in one post recently)

I definitely queried if I was guilty recently ;)

There's an FT Translate app?!

I think IB should focus on making the FT search engine work as a an actual (useful) search engine first before diving into translation services. :p

Bohemian1 Jan 8, 2019 3:51 pm

But we do have a useful search engine.

It comes in two actual parts. @yyznomad and @24left.

WaytoomuchEurope Jan 8, 2019 3:52 pm

He was here but @yyznomad still doesn't want to explain.

Fine. I don't need an explanation. I have enough info to know I am guilty of this frequently.

Actually, you're not guilty at all. :)

What if I have 2 alter egos? One flies only UA K fares and the other will remind you of an app that will identify a song just from hearing a small portion of it.

There's a medical term for that:

evil twin
noun
  1. a. An identical twin or unrelated person who has a similar appearance to a decent or moral person but who wreaks havoc or does evil.
    b. An imaginary double humorously invoked to explain or excuse uncharacteristic or reprehensible behavior.

I assure you that none of your egos are guilty. :p

And K fare buyers are not guilty either. :)

TFW you open your laptop on the train and can’t work out where that music is coming from until you realize YouTube has cached music and decided to treat my fellow pax.

Grrrr. I’m sure it’s a useful feature for some but when I hit stop on it and put my laptop to sleep, I expect it to stay stopped when it wakes up!
