AC 1629 - Dec 30 FLL-YYZ - Cancelled

I was booked on AC 1629 tonight and have been informed that it is cancelled. I have been rebooked by AC onto AC2129 Departing at 2245. However, I can't find AC2129 on flightaware.

Is this flight actually scheduled for tonight? Is the plane actually en route to FLL?

Thanks,

You may want to check the flight status on ACs on website rather than rely own a third party website. It’s delayed to 23:10 and is being operated by a 77L.

The inbound flight is AC2126 due to arrive at 22:17

A little digging.....

Looks like your original inbound would have been AC1626 which was cancelled.

Now, AC is sending AC2126 as per below, a 77L

.

And @ChrisA330 because I wasted time posting screen shots

Google also gives the correct flight information as the top result. I simply typed "AC 2129".

Most likely J, since Premium Rouge for NA flights is sold as J. On a full flight, they wouldn’t be able to leave J empty and accommodate everyone one the 77L.

Lucky if you are in J, unlucky if you are in Y.

I don't know Jack. Sure the old 763s still have a little plushy padded seats in Y so yes, perhaps softer.
But it's a 3 hour flight. And unlike the 7M8s, everyone in Y can actually get to a lav.

The real question that hasn't been asked yet is: will those seats stay inflated for the entire journey of the flight or do I see a green slip on the horizon ?

AC should just allow J pax to bring their own inflatable pool toys to use as substitute cushions.
