Crossed 150k AQMs: Threshold Gift & 2019 Selection Question

Hi folks,

Recently crossed 150k AQMs and had 2 questions:

1) Do I need to do anything to claim the 15k rollover AQM threshold gift?

2) Noticed 2019 privilege selection has opened.

Is this a typo? Does anyone know the actual cut-off date before the system goes with the defaults?

Be sure to choose the benefits best suited to your travel needs by October 31, 2019, as a default selection will not be made on your behalf. Please note that no changes will be permitted once Select Privileges have been chosen.
Thanks!

The AQM will automatically post. It is done in sweeps and could take a month.

yes, 2019 selections are open. I don't know the final answer.

The rollover AQM should post in 2019, based on how they're described on the Altitude website:

Receive Rollover Altitude Qualifying Miles that will provide with you a head start on earning Altitude status in the next qualification year. Rollover Altitude Qualifying Miles will be credited in January 2020 and count towards achieving Altitude status in the 2020 program year. Altitude Qualifying Miles are also Bonus Aeroplan Miles that will bring you closer to flight rewards to over 1,000 destinations worldwide with Air Canada and Star Alliance member airlines. You can also redeem your miles for various merchandise, electronics, activities and more. Visit aeroplan.com for more information on how to use your miles.
Edit: Text has been updated for the 2019 program apparently...

That's actually quite confusing. Presumably, I should be receiving these in January 2019 in order to help qualify for status for 2020, correct?

Substitute 2019 wherever you see 2020 in that description above. You will get them credited in January 2019, as AQM for 2019. As if you flew the miles in 2019.

Sorry, they post to a notice, on the Altitude site, that indicates you have them banked.

I now see this on my dashboard:

Rollover Altitude Qualifying Miles earned through the 2019 Threshold Gift program will be deposited directly into the Aeroplan Member's account in January 2020 and will count towards achieving Altitude status in the 2021 program year.
I crossed 150k miles in December 2018. Can I assume these years in bold are all off by 1 year? When should I expect to see the banked 15k AQMs actually reflect towards my qualification towards the 2020 program year?

I got the same bolded content for rollover miles from crossing 60K. I thought it should have been for 2020. Waiting to see.
