Though, with extra bags being a Star Alliance Gold privilege, I'm not sure how that would work in reality.

UA managed to remove UA lounge access from their FF’s, despite being a *A benefit. So there is latitude and precedent. But be careful what kinds of enhancements we wish for...

At this point, I would personally much rather trade (useless to me) eUPs for various other things: Internet membership or flights, guest MLL passes, advance seat selection, true IKK credits, etc. But if I could also trade things like bags and MLL access, that would be great!

Because my CC benefits become redundant, this needs to factor in too - or else people ditch the card, like I will. (Somewhat contrary to the foundation of the whole AE purchase).

Wifi is already a select privilege. 6 months at E75K and 12 months at S100K.

I just selected 100% bonus and 12 months of wifi, giving up 50 eUps. That trade is already possible

Has anybody received their packages from the early-January sweep? Nothing yet for me, and I'm keen to have my new card before my 2018 card expires for the Heathrow Express upgrade benefit.

I just googled... how did I not know about that benefit?

Not that it is a long trip, but I take the Heathrow Express all the time...

They definitely don’t go out of their way to publicize it. I found it by accident on the Star Alliance website earlier in 2018, but I gather it’s been a long-standing benefit. It’s great when the train is busy and seats are scarce — I’ve never had a problem getting a seat in First. Based on the accents I hear on-board the trains, maybe UA does a better job at informing its members of the benefit?

@Cozmo456
I'm sure I asked you this question a while back:
Did you contact AC about this? At multiple levels?

@24left Back when my MM was not given for 9 months after crossing, I went up the chain and no one seemed interested. To be honest, I fall between the cracks of their service. And it is a shame. I could easily double my AC travel and maybe even have 2MM by now. But unless I talk to someone at AC who can fix it, I will maintain status on DL and the bare minimum to get 100K on AC for my close in travel.
