Got swept on the 5th to E75K - qualified with 74,140 AQM. But my AQD was ridiculous, so justified.

This is the first story I've heard in this vein. Glad AC did the right thing here.

Question - did you assume you'd only get E50 and just deem E75 not worthy of a 860 mile run, or did you assume AC would do you right?

In the buy up master thread, there have been past posts where status has been comped for cases where the AQD far exceeds (like at least 100%) and the AQM/AQS is within 1%.

I chose the MLL discount, but whenever I try to use the code provide (in my altitude portal) it says invalid code (purchasing on Air Canada Maple Leaf Club - Air Canada Maple Leaf Club)

any clues?

Wouldn't "the right thing" be E35K?

You're hoping they don't do the right thing

No, I assumed the worst and actually did a mileage run. I then purchased a flight pass on the 30th, and when the sweep caught me up, the 1250 miles still hadn't posted - they actually still haven't posted - so I'm postulating they moved me to E75 while still a few miles short.

I just noticed the bolded wording 'first' below (bolding mine)

Banked Super Elite 100K status is automatically assigned in the first benefit year when published requirements for achieving Super Elite 100K status have not been met. Air Canada holds final authority as to the assigning of Banked Super Elite 100K status.

Does anyone read that to mean that you can only bank one year of future SE status ? Can I actually bank several years of SE?

I am duly impressed depressed with this CPM.

Wow, that you spent only $15K for those AQMs leaves me in awe! My clients would love you since I do fly on a combination of OPM and mine.
I think your situation is a dilemma for AC. (Or maybe it's not a dilemma for AC since AQD is a criteria?!?)
Are you expecting your Red Button to offer SE100K or E75K?
