My spreadsheet is telling me I should pass the 2MM mark on the night Sept. 18 to 19. Technically on the 19th. All flights booked except a short-haul round trip.

To provide some context, the Aeroplan split was set for June 30 2020 (there's no longer a split).

I know "before" a date is fairly ambiguous, but I meant "not too much before".

This post was in October 2017.

This post was November 2018. The funny thing is it's less accurate than my previous prediction.

I'm currently at 958,777 lifetime miles.

Anyone want to cross with me on a long-haul?

Depending on timing, maybe we can arrange for you to cross MM and me to cross 2MM on the same flight.

Currently anticipating April or May for me.

Well that sounds fun!! Unfortunately I'm unlikely to be able to add any additional flying until at least June ... but I'll be on AC34 TPAC May 30th if you want to join me.

I was originally on track for 1MM in 2020 but then I changed companies in 2017 and earned a whopping 35K AQM since then. SE to tangerine is tough BTW. I have changed roles again and foresee 1MM by 2023.

I will hit 1MM during my return flight on my next transatlantic... sometime within the next 3-4 weeks.

I take it then that you got that issue with your MM AQM resolved? You've leapfrogged me, I'm down right around 900K, so not sure I can cross with you

100,000 AQM in 2-3 months?
You can do that.

I could be MM this year based on normal travel patterns. Or not, if I continue my stay-flat avoidance.

If I don't sound particularly motivated, I'm really not. Other than bragging rights, I'm not really sure that MM status yields me much in the near term.

Worse, some of our brother/sisters here seem to have had a degraded experience after hitting MM. Or, at least a perceived attitude of "What have you done for me lately".

Wait, for some reason I thought you were already MM!

As for Lifetime E50K or higher, I'm not assuming that I'll be able to necessarily afford to financially or physically fly in J, or lots later in life. So I view it as a nice "pension", if you will. To me it's definitely worth *G for life.

Added: I think the "gripe" for some is that "well, everyone and their dogwalker and skywalker are 1MM"...
