YYZ National / Holiday DO 2018 Saturday, December 22, 2018
I'm eager to have another YYZ National / Holiday DO. It was great meeting everyone / a few amazing people last year before I darted out.
I hope it isn't too early to start laying out some plans. The more industrious may want to start a new thread.
Hopefully Friday Dec 21 or Saturday Dec 22 would work for a majority of the crew. A solid afternoon 17:00 hrs meet-up would be ideal. Union Chicken last year was a great spot and easily accessible.
PD

While OP posted in the dormant YYZ National / Holiday Do thread for the event that was held in late 2017 it made more sense to spin their post off into a brand new thread to discus a possible event in YYZ for 2018. Please find the 2017 event thread here.I hope this year's edition gets off the ground, pun intended.

Took a break for a few years from the AC forum (I do see some familiar faces around, which is nice), but now that I'm living in the center of the universe, I'd be interested in this, too. Unsure on the dates, but Dec 21 or 22 doesn't sound bad to me.

I'm wide open. Not leaving town until after the 25th. I love it when the school holidays line up like this.
I really enjoyed Union Chicken last year and would be eager to have it there again.

As of now me, zone1boarding, and 10yroldsuperelite are free the 21st. I had a great time at the last holiday DO! even missed the last UP Express back to the hotel.

I can't imagine a competent driver deviating from what's in the app. I'd certainly lodge a complaint and refuse to pay.

At this time, either dates might work for me too... I'll have a better idea in late November.
Agreed with the above that Union Chicken was a good venue, even considering they had just their grand opening and still had some snafus to sort out.
