Maybe next year. If their was a further YVR route it would have been part of this announcement. No point having a big YVR announcement and then another one a short time later. If a new route was being introduced, it would have been apart of this big YVR announcement.

I foresee a new-route announcement soon (within the year). It may well involve Air Canada as they, er, it clearly seeks to maintain its hub status at YVR and retain its/their current half-ish of total seat capacity from the airport. The airport itself is actively seeking new nonstops to South America and SE Asia and has not limited its discussions to the largest tenant.

SD on YVR-ZRH this morning says the 5x/week is a trial from May-Oct with the assumption it will go year round.
