On average, I do 50 AC breakfast J flights per year. I like the breakfast offerings, including the "polarizing" omelette dish.

I'd love a good strong latte / coffee options (cold brew drinks).
I know AC serves lattes onboard but I've had the bad luck of being unable to get one prior to landing due to turbulence (no hot drink service periods)

Carriers that serve poached eggs actually have the caterer poach them on the ground and immersed in a container of cold water. Once onboard and ready for serving, the poached eggs are scooped up and placed into a container of hot water for a short period of time to "heat" them up while preserving the texture of the yolk.

Way, way back in the day (probably 2009) there was one time they had this peach souffle for breakfast on a YYZ-YVR morning flight.
It was fantastic. Saw it once...and never again.

I actually like the oatmeal and yogurt- plain is better than 'pre-sweetened'- my sweet spot: warm milk to add to the oatmeal vs cold...
re traditional hot breakfast- the pancakes on Long Haul seem to 'therm up' pretty well- just delete the sausage and that could be a nice alternative to the egg/oatmeal.

This! Also creamy bircher muesli, served with thin slices of fresh apple on top.
