SDC AC ticket UA metal

SDC AC ticket UA metal
Is it possible to same day change a United flight ticketed by a TA on AC stock?

I assume you would apply UA SDC rules.

Quick answer is probably not feasible with UA directly. Reason is the ticket has to be reissue and it's not a UA ticket. You can try to do the change on AC and see what happens. But I think change fee could be apply AND even fare difference.

If fare allow it, you can standby for earlier with a potential fee.

UAXXXX but the ticket is 014xxxx...

You can SDC using United's rules. 24 hours prior to departure either way.

Same fare class must be available, or it's standby only.

This. Don't bother with AC, go straight to UA. Potentially will have to be done at UA ticket counter.

Thanks to all, it took a few calls to UA but they got it to work.

$75 fee, and they seem to have reissued on their end (ticket now is 016xxx).
