Aeroplan issues with award redemption on partner airlines
#62
I’m getting nonexistent flights on OS. VIE-PRG in the morning is a Q400 which has no business, but Aeroplan is pulling up only business space. And of course when I try to book it, it errors out - because there’s no real business space!!! Argh.

LX is indeed gone (April-August 2019) again. Another odd data point: ZRH-YYZ on AC was only showing for me if I add the onward connection to Montreal.
I wonder just how messed up the back-end systems are at AP.

The LX issue and AC issue are two separate ones. LX and SK are gone from search results again. However, your ZRH-YYZ issue has to do with married segments logic.

I called Aeroplan and was told that there's a known issue with NH, SK and LX that has been escalated to a "Major Incidents Team." Whether that's true or whether the agent was just trying to get me off the phone, I do not know.

Just to clarify: Transcontinental/IntraContinental is a flight that crosses a continent - YYZ-YVR. You’re talking about a TransAtlantic/InterContinental flight that goes from one continent to another (in your case over the Atlantic, or over the North Pole) - YYZ-ZRH.
