This is a weird case, given that it seems the FA had other things going on mental health-wise beyond the cannabis use...

I'm honestly surprised we haven't seen more labour jurisprudence in relation to cannabis use since legalization, while I totally understand AC's default stance that consuming even off the clock is technically prohibited, given that the science on how long the effects can take to clear is still so uncertain, but eventually that probably has to become untenable. (Also given what we all know about flight crews drinking right up until the cut-off knowing they'll be fine the next morning, I'm sure if you smoke occasionally off-duty and are reasonable about it AC isn't exactly trying to chase down every policy violation.)
