Famous Rapper Tried To Get Blind Woman’s Seeing Eye Dog Kicked Off Air Canada Flight

And the AC staff stood their ground. Read all about it:

https://www.narcity.com/news/this-fa...-canada-flight

Famous rapper Ty Dollar $ign was in Canada over the weekend performing at the Escapade Music Festival in Ottawa. He travelled to the city from Montreal on a connecting flight from Air Canada.

While Canadians know that Air Canada can be a hassle sometimes, it seems like the rapper, whose full name is Tyrone William Griffin Jr, was having some unique difficulties. Griffin was trying to get a blind woman out of her seat, saying that he was allergic to her dog.

Professionally handled, I would say. Good for the crew.

I have so much to say about this guy, but I expect that everyone is on the same page on this.
A big thank you to the AC crew who wouldn't allow that poor woman to be bullied and intimidated. It was just so wrong what he did.
It would be fitting if there was a complaint made at the human rights commission about this ignorant person's demand.

He could have offered to offload himself and taken the next flight if he was that allergic to dogs.

Better yet, offload this untalented rapper and put him in a dog cage in cargo on the next flight out and put the woman and her dog in his J seat!

Such a shame they didn't offload him if his allergy was so bad.

I think letting on comfort animals and such (not for medical reasons as prescribed by a medical physician) causes issues like these to arise. I think it's generally safe to assume that the public would not be commenting about animals at all if there was no rampant abuse of bringing on giraffes, zebras, leopards, tigers and lions.

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

This wasn't a comfort animal or ESA: it was a blind woman's seeing eye dog.

Why was he flying public scheduled flights? Why wasn't J booked full of his entourage? Why did AC not recognize him as VIP? Something doesn't add up here...

If he really was famous they wouldn't have to add that adjective. ;-)

evident ignorance and public shaming far more effective...

and "just plain dumb", in the words of a family member who actually knows who this supposed famous rapper is...

and for those who praise AC actions here...well, is the staff doing their job day in and day out which mostly does NOT make it to media deserve such accolades???

Good on the crew for handling it safely and without raising voices. Good on the rapper for not causing a commotion. He's not screaming his head up and running up and down thankfully.

But poor taste to try get her booted when she followed the protocols and he didn't.

WOnder if we will hear a song from him shaming AC and ladies who can't see?
