Something else to bear in mind, AC substantially lowered the number of passes they hand out this year. Means less to float around.

In LHR you have another excellent option. You can purchase a UA club pass on eBay for $10-20 which can be used at ANY UA club. The UA club is better than the MLL at LHR anyways. They're located really close to each other.

Is a UA boarding pass required?

Canít you also just buy entry on the day into UA lounges? Or is this only in the past / at certain lounges? It was $35/$50 if memory serves depending upon time. USD I think.

Might be better asked on the UA forum as a seperate single question to avoid cross posting... if there isnít already a thread which I imagine there is?

I (or the friend I was with) bought into UA on an AC ticket. FWIW.

If your onward flight is on Eurowings, they are probably departing out of T2A... It's quite a hike to head to T2B for lounges, and then back to T2A for your flight.

Once you land at LHR, I believe you'll have to walk to T2A for connection security, if I remember correctly.

I did exactly this a few months ago, departing on Eurowings to Stuttgart. It is definitely ok to access the UA club with a pass no matter what airline you are flying. It is a ~15 minute walk from the UA club to the Eurowings gates. Enjoy!

A one time pass on the app or at the door is now $59 which is not worth it when you get one on eBay for $10-20.
