Newb redemption question: How to spend the least?
 

Looking to book a redemption ticket from YOW to FRA from Nov 1 to Nov 8.. how to I do this for the lowest total cost to me?

I've looked through the other posts, and can't seem to make heads or tails of it.

Avoid AC and LH metal. See if you can find anything on Swiss, Brussels, Austrian or if all else fails United.

Austrian also has high scamcharges.
Anything YOW FRA on Swiss, Brussels, SAS will be 3 flights. United will be just 2 flights from YOW.

LO would be another option, but of course it's blocked.

Of course non of the cheap option will show up online becuase the system prefers AC/LH scamchargeable flights. OP, you will have to look it up by segment, perhaos YOW EWR and then EWR FRA, and call in to book.

Ah, the cheaper options won't show up. I was looking for YYZ-BRU on Aug. 29 or 30. Too bad there's no SN direct flight seats, and the options of YYZ-LHR-BRU (AC/SN) or YYZ-YUL-BRU (AC) have high scamcharges. I'm still looking for options.
