I forgot which appetizer it was, but it was something with fruit jam. I looked around and when no one was looking at my direction, I licked the plate clean.

And I lick that small strawberry jam jar too.

Nothing precedes an EU arrival like some banana loaf and coffee.
Well there’s normally plenty available given how many people decline it.

Receiving my special meal

To be fair, they are doing much every year. 2015 about 50%, 2016 around 75% and in 2017 they only missed me once!

I kind of miss complaining and getting 10% off vouchers each time to share with my friends and family .

The cheese plate on international flights. And port.

I've certainly asked for seconds of the former and bottles of the latter.

The freshly baked chocolate macadamia nut cookies on the Europe to Canada bound executive first flights. Yes, I know, that was a long time ago!

Seconded.

I'll defer to your experience. The smell that permeates the cabin when they roll these things out is so gross that actually eating one is not a prospect I'd consider.

My guilty AC meal pleasure is bringing a nice take-away meal on board and enjoying the envious glances of my seatmates.

Here's a guilty pleasure, although not mine. An FA once confessed to me that she was secretly happy when parents declined the BBML. Because that meant she could eat the Heinz strained banana pot.

Omelette is one of the better things they offer. Not sure if I would describe it as "guilty AC meal pleasure though." Just another breakfast.
