Decoding Aeroplan Fare Calculation

Hey guys,

Wondering if any nerds out there can lend a hand in figuring out how to read the fare calculation:

22JUN18YTO BR X/TPE BR DPS R0.00TG BKK R0.00TG X/TYO AC X/YTO
AC YOW R0.00CAD0.00 END ROE1.00 XT29.00SQ30.30SW170.00YQ
28.10TS20.90D52.80E71.20G815.00YR

I believe the nomenclature of these taxes is to list the amount and then the code but I'm not 100%. I have bolded what I believe are the tax amounts ... can anyone help decode this?

The taxes charged on the award ticket was $326.98 and I'm trying to reconcile it with what shows up on the ticket fare calculation.

ROE is rate of exchange (not really applicable here. In a revenue ticket it would be the rate of exchange from NUC to the currency the ticket is issued in, rounded according to certain rules)

In the PDF there will be 2 taxes not included in this line and listed elsewhere, then everything is after XT (extra taxes). You are correct it is amount followed by tax code.

YQ and YR are carrier surcharges

SQ = CA Airport Improvement Fee
SW = JP Passenger Service Charge
TS = TH Passenger Service Charge
D5 = ID Passenger Service Charge
E7 = TH Advance Passenger Processing User Charge
G8 = TH International Arrival and Departure Fees

XT is combined taxes when there are more than three taxes. The total is shown in the summary and then broken out in the linear fare line.
