Called to request a special meal (being AC*A I don't feel like ML*9 priority), AC said to call my TA (United), called United, they put the request in but did not seem confident AC would see it. Meh, whatever, not expecting much here.

Update: Called AC again, was told "This itinerary does not qualify for a special meal request." I asked "What do I do if I have a religious requirement?", response was "What ever you would like to order, you will have to order it onboard." (verbatim, grammar preserved)

Update 2: Here is what my itinerary looks like on ac.com

Don't want to derail this thread beyond Do discussion; point me to other threads to read up on what I'm missing... I will note literally ZERO wait time in the public *2262 res number. Very impressed with the queue times!

thats horrible customer service. I'd call back and record it, then hand off the recording to the CBC.

No I'd say both AC agents were amazingly polite, expeditious and courteous, and quite confident in their answers, which certainly leaves me confused. Actually, United's agent was a bit rough, but very courteous too... I'm being encouraged to call AC again, but meh, later.

Wait what, is there a belief that MM/SE meal ordering priority will actually happen on this flight?

guessing priority could be:
1) youngest to oldest SE/SEMM
or
2) all NON codeshare tickets (AKA the 'A' single aisle seats followed by the DO participants)

Bonus for DO participants on this 767: if your pod seat does not inflate, be sure and write in for a coupon.

Well I'm on board my outbound.

Ace, my emotional support pup, is safely stowed in an overhead compartment.

He'll be out, running up and down the aisle, during Monday's flight.

If you manage to deflate a classic pod seat, I'm pretty sure a diversion will happen.

If I manage to deflate a pod, I'm pretty sure it will be because of my muffin top!

According to the non-contributory armchair experts here, you must be at least 1MM in order to have a muffin top.
