Can anyone tell me why my status would be 'pending' on January 17th.

As of August 2017 I had: AQM 31026, AQS 18, AQD 6537.

I gave up caring about status a few years ago but this is the first time I've seen this.

You blew by the AQD requirements for E35, so they're probably assessing you for a comp. One of my employees with 25K AQD and 98K AQM has the same thing.

In both those cases, it's also possible that you're so close to the E35K and S100K AQM requirements that they're wondering if any more flights might post for 2017.

It certainly would not surprise me in either case for the status to be rounded up anyway.

I'm chatting to AC on FaceBook right now so we'll see, but I'm flying YEG - TPE on Friday so it would be nice to know before then.

Did you do any good on Facebook ? I had a similar type of inquiry, the Facebook people gave me an email address. I've emailed and got an auto reply.

Great, where's my free 75K for spending $12,000 AQD on 55 segments and 52,000 miles?

You didn't suggest a mileage run?

I finally got to pick myP25k benefits - I'm RICH!

Unfortunately, I still can't see the base e-upgrades in my account. I have a flight in a few days and want to use them up before I lose my only slightly better status!

Edit: I was sure that I bought a full Flex fare on the AC website instead of Tango specifically to have a chance at an upgrade. Apparently I only get the chance for a co-pay. Ain't gonna happen! On any other website I can see the full fare code and choose. $200 down the drain, but they won't get that from me again.

Oh that's part of the story. I suggested one and he agreed, and took one to YVR in late December... that he booked using Avion points, not knowing that they don't earn miles anymore. To say he was displeased would be an understatement.

And? What did AC's professional FB team say?

Sorry for the late reply, I'm out on a ship off Taiwan ATM.

They said that my status would be updated on March 1st.

My status changed to Prestige 25K a couple of days later, just after my flight out here.

I was really holding out for bump up to E35K as I ended 2017 with 32k AQM, over 6K in AQD and when I was on the phone with AC for another reason, they encouraged me to email some revisions email, from which I received an automatic reply that they will only be responding after March 2018. In the mean time, I've received confirmation of my P25K status... it would be nice if they did revisit this for me, make me a happy customer =)

As a follow up to this, my employee originally was placed in E75 in late January, but they wrote him on Feb 28 to say he was being bumped to SE.

Did he get a buy up offer?
