Departure or Landing Dates?

I am planning on traveling on December 30th to India and land on January 1. I have already reached SE100K status. Would the AQD/AQM be applied to 2017 or 2018?

Does make me wonder what happens in the case of IRROPs with a rebooked flight.

Everything posts based on the schedule departure time of the flight you actually take.

Everyone just seems to get unnecessarily confused when they're rebooked from Dec 31 to Jan 1. It behaves the same as if you were rebooked from Jan 1 to Jan 2.

Sure, I guess my question is would AC be open to posting the flights as 31/12 if you needed $100 AQM and didn’t get it because their aircraft went belly up delaying you?
