crew seats
Have any others seen this in their travels.
On Sunday, April 27th... I took a flight from LHR to YYZ... while walking down the aisle to my "back of the plane" seat... 3 seats in the first row of Y, had little hand written scraps of paper pinned to the head rest saying... "Crew Seats"... At checkin I was told that the best seat I could acquire was the one given to me... 3 rows from back... ughhh... |
There are such seats assigned in blocks for working crew on long haul and intercontinental flights. Many airlines actually separate these from passenger seats when in use with a curtain.
|
The crew seats are usually at the back
of the plane. I am not sure why they were at the front this time. [This message has been edited by Ace Cdn (edited 05-01-2003).] |
blocking off seats yes, but why do you need to pin a scrap of paper to the headrest of the seat... ??? No other seats on the plane had labels on them... Mr. Jones.. Mrs. Smith etc... it just seemed odd...
on my flight from YYZ to YUL on April 11th, I was seated beside a FA in the first row of mini J... her seat did not have a label on it... |
I guess they want to make sure nobody moves around after takeoff and uses these seats. Makes sense to me.
