Threshold eUpgrades

Last week I passed the first threshold and am currently E50K. It's my first time reaching any threshold. Yesterday, all flights were posted to Altitude and this morning, I received an email from Air Canada inviting me to choose my threshold gift, which was 5000 Aeroplan points. I went into my eUpgrade account to see if the eUpgrade credits were posted and unfortunately they're not.

Is it common for the threshold gift and threshold eUpgrades to come at different times? Or is there somehow a deadline by which to cross the threshold in order to get those credits?

I think I remember my threshold eUps appearing the day after the flight posted on my dashboard.

You guys are probably right! I don't follow these things so closely so it may well have been 2 days in my case as well.

My Recent experience:
Crossed threshold November 4th
Miles Posted to Altitude on November 7
Threshold Eupgrade credits Posted November 15th.
So 11 days from flight. This was after several calls to AC where i was told they credit within 72 hours by one agent and that its normal to take up to 2 weeks by another agent.

My last batch of credits posted 3-4 days after the flight had posted, so about a week from the flight.
