Air Canada lieflat routes ex-US?

Hello friends,

I decided go to for AC SE status next year. I love the AC longhaul J product and am looking to flying them a lot. As someone based in SFO, I saw that one flight daily from SFO to YYZ is lieflat on a 767. I was wondering what other cities in the US have lieflat configs to YYZ/YUL/YVR, which I imagine will be my main connecting cities for int'l travel.

So far I found:

YYZ - SFO (AC 737) B767
SFO - YYZ (AC 738) B767

YVR - EWR (AC 548) B787
EWR - YVR (AC 549) B787

YYZ - LAX (AC 791, AC 793) B767
LAX - YYZ (AC 788, AC 792) B767

Is everything else too close to justify lie-flat configs? And on a side note, do those planes not have wifi?

You're looking at the winter schedule.

The summer schedule at SFO has twice the number of flights, and they were flying 787s in addition to the 767s.

Widebodies do not currently have wifi, but will at some point in the future.

What CanadianCow said.
Most of the lie flats from LAX and SFO to YYZ are red eye 767. Summer schedule i believe has a 787 day flight. Assuming you are based in SFO your main connections TPAC will be YVR and YYZ (if you want to double back). For TATL it will be YYZ and maybe YUL.
Some of AC long haul and most summer destinations are AC Rouge where there is no lie flat and poorer seats etc.

It's not just a question of distance but also demand on the route. For example, I'm sitting on YYC-EWR right now and it's a 319, and has mostly been E90s for many years. It's a long enough flight that a widebody would be nice, but the demand just isn't there. Same things with some other fairly long routes like YYZ-SAN/SEA/PDX or YUL-SFO/LAX.

In some cases, there might be enough demand for a widebody, but the market prefers frequency. YVR-SFO and YYC-IAH being examples where AC and UA combined run 6+ narrowbody flights a day most days but where the variety of different departure times are preferred over having a nicer aircraft.

Actually, the winter SFO-YYZ red-eye is a 321. It's the morning flight that's a 763.

Either way, the typical schedule is that one third of the SFO-YYZ flights are widebody, and they are 3 daily in the winter and 6 daily in the summer.

And then circumstances beyond their control caused delays.

The most recent public update is 777, 787, and rouge 767 by end of 2018, with the A330 fleet by March 2019.
