Credit for interline with China Eastern

Looking for information from anyone with experience with this.
I bought a ticket to China from AC.com with the NRT - XIY portion on China Eastern airlines.
All of my miles from the ticket have posted last week except when MU segment.
Will I get AQM /AQD from this segment?

MU is not a *A carrier...

I think the point is that you won't get any AQMs from a non *A carrier.

E-Ticket/Baggage interline agreements have nothing to do with mileage earning.

So even when AC sells the ticket, if a portion is on a non alliance member there is no credit?

No. It's no different than if you were to buy the ticket on Expedia.

There are quite a number of airlines that AC will sell tickets on where you won't earn miles.

You may want to reference this for future: https://www.aeroplan.com/earn_miles/...entLanguage=en

Correct.

Taanks all.
IS the same true for AQD (it is an 014 ticket number).

As already noted above, MU is not a *A carrier, so the answer is still no.

You should read up on this too: https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/...m-updates.html

If that had been coded as an AC flight, then yes you would get credit. Because it is shown as MU, you get zip.

You can credit that flight to one of the SkyTeam FFPs.

You may need to post the ticket fare basis for us to read in order to determine that for sure I think.

It was business class lowest with that segment booked into C.
Oh well, live and learn I suppose.
Still worth the price paid.
