Poor AC Crews
I know we have a "thank you" thread, but I thought I'd start the opposite.
AC 739 YYZ-SFO Sun Oct 8 2017, operated by a 321. Service hasn't been great. The SD was friendly though. However, we're landing in 30 and I have yet to be offered any water or a snack basket. Additionally, it had been quite a while since I'd seen the SD. I got up to go ask for a drink, and he wasn't in the forward galley. I sat down and hit the call button. 10 minutes later I gave up and walked to the rear galley with my empty glass. Me: "Hi, can I have a rum and Coke Zero Please?" FA: "Wait are you in the front?" (I was holding my glass) Me: "Yes" FA: "Oh you should have just pushed the call button!" Me: "I did. It's been on 10 minutes." FA: "Oh we don't see it back here." Me: "I can see it up there" Then the SD stepped in apologized, and made me my drink. And it was pointed out that the fourth FA was sitting in the last row of Y, watching the IFE. I will be writing in about this. |
Wait what. I know it's a 321 and AC don't do PDB (now a bottle though is even this scrapped on TCONs?) but there was no food or water on this entire flight?
Was there any sign of the kit last basket in the forward galley? |
Been on 3 flights with OBSMs as of late. Service has been stellar, but twice did not receive snack basket until 20 minutes before touchdown.
I've taken to audio recording entire flights with some play-by-play narration in case my credibility is questioned. Something about my moniker on forums seems to play a role in this. |

Was there any sign of the kit last basket in the forward galley? Mind you, there was an OBSM sitting in J next to me. |

Was there any sign of the kit last basket in the forward galley? But water was never explicitly offered, which I've never witnessed. And the snack basket had not come around when I posted this.

And we're definitely descending. |
Cow, this thread is about crew with little to no money, so I suggest starting another thread.
That being said. Ouin. Pas fort. Do you know if the FA was actually on duty and not travelling standby? But yeah, that's ....... I don't need crew to be all over me, but I don't want to be chasing them either. |
What’s OBSM?

Haha, not sure I would walk to the back galley for a drink. It poses the question of when you don't get great service, what do you do? Do you be the persistent passenger?
|
Thanks, all!

It's like BDSM, but off-topicer.

Given the title, I thought that this thread was a crowdfunding appeal to help some unfortunate FA, ;)
|
I have been on a number of flights this year where the SD hangs out in the back with the other FA for most of the flight
