Need 1 J (I) ticket to Warsaw return
Desperately need an award ticket in J to Europe. Usually I go through many various options to get good yet least cost itinerary. Fail to date but will continue on my own. Hopefully the experts on this forum have an easier way to check few options for me, it will be much appreciated. This is a medical treatment situation.
Departure in second half of October from YYC.
Return ~ 2 to 3 weeks after.
Least fees, shortest trips, no time of day or night preference, via USA ok, Nexus available.

I'm finding availability via YYZ on LOT on Oct. 18, if that isn't too late for you.
Return, I'm finding availability on LOT via ORD on Nov. 2 & 3.
Both are unfortunately long connections - 10 hours in YYZ, 12 hours overnight in ORD.
Total fees for the r/t are a reasonable $325.93.

I was thinking LO as well as they usually have great C/J fares. I see for return dates around November 5 to be slightly over $6,000 Canadian funds. I typically buy LO C fares at $3,000 or lower over AC TATL. However, $6,000 is not worth it.
Also, since this is the AC forum, I am assuming that an AC leg, codeshare, ticket, etc. is involved.

Thanks guys for comments to date. Departure is any day in October after I pick up the renewed passport on this coming Friday. October 18 is an option I will consider as I look for other better connections. More comments would be welcomed.

You for sure can find J, but it takes some effort.... there are a few ideas above that you can use, but you can find your own.
Think of major hubs in US and Canada and try from there...then search the YYC-hub-YYC portions next.
Eg
YVR, YYZ, YUL, EWR, ORD come to mind.
Look where flights from WAW, FRA, LHR, VIE, ZRH, BRU go to in the US and Canada...search those leg by leg.
Make notes as you go.
You can string together an itinerary that suits you, and then call Aeroplan and pay the booking fee.

An update ; Found
YYC-YUL-ZRH-KRK total flight > 20 hrs
KRK-WAW/ZRH-LAX-YYC total flight > 24 hrs with an overnight
Based on long flights with associated cost, decided to go paid economy ;
YYC-FRA-KRK 12 hrs all in with 1.5 layover
KRK-FRA-YYC also 12 with 1 hrs for transfer
AC ticket Economy Tango L
Ticket says confirmed and indicates Terminal 1 in FRA both ways. CARRY ON ONLY. I assume these layover times are fine and that there be no issues making the flight if segments are on time. Outbound customs at FRA for sure but is security check required? What about on the return via FRA? Any assurances from the experts?
