I don't see R happening given the "rules" around the MLL and R.
I'd expect some variation of I class to be next on the list, but it could be "all I class" or "SE in I class" or some other restricted version.

I’d venture I then R for SEMM only.
Or that bloke that has 5MM. I reckon he’d get in on Tango.

Top of the waitlist springs to mind
But just because AC hasn't done it before, doesn't mean they can't start now. It's meant to be an exclusive lounge, if they ever open it up there is a huge difference between opening it up to "all I" or "all R" vs just SEMM in one or more classes. Even just SE in those classes would potentially put it over the limit and it's better to do it gradually.

Well I think I've said this before, but I can't see them loosening the requirements until they see what happens with the summer schedule.
Just because it's only 50% full during the winter doesn't mean it will be 50% full during the summer.

AC are going upstream and towards exclusivity w/ this Lounge.
The only expanded admission I could see would be 1 guest allowed for actual J/C fares (ie., NOT Z/P), and/or SE2MM access on upgraded bookings.
They should not and will not go much wider than that.

A bunch of people in this thread have said something like "I can see them opening it up to [my status level], but nothing more." I'd bet a fair bit of money that if there's ever a status-exception here, it's going to be SE or E50K. Not some other obscure level.
Guesting is something I'd like to see addressed, but I'm not even sure what I'd want as a user. If you're in full J and your +1 is in Tango, tough. If you are eligible to access the lounge, and your +1 is in I class on the same flight, that might be a reasonable expansion. But if you're paid and your spouse and two kids are in I class... is that reasonable? What if you're paid, and your +1 is in I class on a different flight?

I suspect other airline J would be bad for lounge capacity. F maybe, but do any *A even fly F to YYZ any more?

That's really confusing. If the expand it, it should make the policy easier to understand, not harder. Adding Aeroplan (I) and paid (LMU / big) upgrades should be on the list, and IMO that's as far as they should go as it normalizes their policy with the current MLL guidelines for non Elites.
