Delta is a great airline. Clean planes, Starbucks coffee, great variety of free snacks, excellent lounges with truly caring staff to take care of you! Amex Plat gets me access to Sky Clubs which have far better food than MLLs. I too have bought some reasonably priced front cabin flights on Delta.

Funny. My domestic US policy is typically "cheapest first class". But having flown AA/DL/UA this summer, UA is going to win for me unless the price difference is fairly significant.
For the record, I have lounge access with both UA and DL, so you can't accuse me of favoring UA for my *G status.
Agreed.

From my personal experience, Delta is much more generous than Air Canada in terms of handling and approving refunds and waiving change-fees and other fees for different kinds of situations, they don't just stick to what is written on the rules, even for a passenger without status.

Delta has decent J prices, although from Canada most of my flights with them are on regional jets. Their frequent flier program isn't too attractive to me.
