Hard product? Yes. Surely. For the HD, and knee crushing Rouge Y.
I hope you were kidding about the AC Y hard product.

Not really all AC's doing...
Surely I am not the only one who noticed that a lot of what is mentioned in that article has to do with infrastructure at the airports (e.g. no baggage pickup for trans-border) which AC didn't specifically pay for?
Definitely clever PR on their part.
Wonder how long it will take before U.S. travelers sour on the sometimes surly FAs on the trans-oceanic routes?

It's beyond a clever PR exercise. AC has worked diligently with the GTAA to create a facility geared towards ease, and clearly word is spreading to US travellers. On my inbound TP flight yesterday, 30% of the flight was connecting to the US and by the time I had deplaned (20 mins after arrival), every Customer had been processed and on their way through the "F" gates transit point.
I wonder if it is as smooth at YYC as it is at YYZ, for TP/TA to US?

Speaking of "savvy" U.S. fliers.......
Quote:
"There are amazing fares for coach travel on Star Alliance airlines, primarily Air Canada, between several European cities and US cities. Roundtrips originating in Europe start at just $138.

(also an interesting comments about fares and DOT rules)

Forget coach.
And now I see who took my pillow. He has two!
Nice of him to promote AC here.

For those "savvy" U.S. fliers....
TPG posted this a few hours ago with AC prices for LAX-HKG via YVR - in coach (I'll assume lowest Tango)
Deal Alert: Los Angeles to Hong Kong From $381 Round-Trip
https://thepointsguy.com/2017/09/dea...81-round-trip/
At that point for those dates he showed USD $381 RT on AC. Below it was slightly more on Hong Kong Airlines also via YVR and AA non-stop.
So I thought I'd check. GF now shows AC via YVR as the same as the other two.
I also did a comparison of the exact same dates on the same AC 7/8 YVR-HKG.
Just to make you do the math , the LAX fare is in USD and the YVR fare is CAD.
XE 1 USD = 1.24011 CAD
.

The remaining challenge I see the distance from where some of the US flights are parked vs international flights...... What happened to those express moving escalators? Perhaps expand on those?!

Yes creates so much tension and pressure when flights delayed......literally see people mentally breaking down near the gates over it...... People connecting to india, europe, sao paulo etc....
