Your Aeroplan points will be worthless come 2020.

this too is all about aeroplan, which we won't miss, apart from folks who have been hording AE points, which was clearly poor judgement from day one. Nothing to do with the future of altitude.

Free in-flight WiFi for E50K and above?? A man can dream...

But seriously, that would be amazing.

[EDIT] Oh “taken from us.” I was trying to be positive. Sorry. Carry on.

Have you used the crappy wifi? Like going back to the dark ages of the early 1990s

I have. I can email and text (iMessage/WhatsApp) while hurtling through the air at 35,000 feet. It’s amazing! At some point it would be nice to stream cat videos or watch celebrity news on Snapchat (the only other uses for the internet) but I’m not complaining.

The wifi has worked pretty well for me.

And I'd love to go back to the early 1990s

Perhaps the early eighties? Pre-Microsoft. Back when computers were still reliable...

True about computer software, but cars from that era were grotesque

Also, no AC FF program to waste time on.

If the changes are small (or if there aren't any changes), I wouldn't expect an announcement.

But if Microsoft would make cars, they would be less reliable now too.

Yeah well, the family class fare change also did not merit an announcement till after the fact.
