2018 Altitude Program Predictions
If someone else has started this, please let me know.
Question is this
What Aeroplan benefits are we going to have taken from us in 2018?
Is there a prophet amoungst us?
Thanks

There was something but it escapes me, there was a benefit added, and that was flights books on other airlines done on Air Canada website would count towards dollar purchased.
That was nice, but I found it almost 50% more to Fly Ethiopian to Uganda than booking the same flight on EAirlines.

I would guess some partner changes to earnings based on fares will continue as this seems to happen every year.

Hasn't affected me, but I'll concede this could have hurt some people. Was that new this year?
Has positively affected me (fewer people in lounges), but also has nothing to do with Aeroplan.

Knowing my luck...new MMers will only get 35k for life; existing MMers grandfathered on the old program.

Many will leave, again.
Many will stay, again.
This question will be asked ,again, for 2019.
Hindsight is 2020?

Is this "interesting" as in "good" (e.g. we get more upgrades), "interesting" as in "bad" (e.g., we get fewer upgrades), or "interesting" as in "interesting" (e.g., eupgrades are free for flights which are a prime number of miles in length, but doubled if the number of miles has more than 3 prime factors)?
