The air miles points from a Marriott travel package took 10 days to show up in my Aeroplan account, but the transaction was dated back to the request date, and the bonus 35% showed up a few days later..

I transferred on the Sunday 8/13, little nervous about making it for the aeroplan bonus deadline but having hear they backdate to the requested date is somewhat good news in my case. I hope they will honor.

I did it twice with Marriott points this summer and both were posted with the dates I called in.

Marriott Rewards
Wyndham Rewards
Best Western Rewards
Choice Privileges
Coast Rewards
Club Carlson

Miles from my Marriott travel packages just posted tonight. It took a full week, but I kind of recall Marriott to Aeroplan normally deposited on a fixed day - maybe that was Monday of every week. As gpeso8 & dtman85 both also reported receiving their miles last Monday as well.

I called Marriott on Fri (Aug 18) to exchange 270,000 Marriott Rewards points for the 7 night travel package. 120,000 Aeroplan points posted last night (Monday), so only 3 days wait. They dated the Marriott transfer to Friday's date, so it beat yesterday's deadline for this Aeroplan Hotel conversion promotion. Hope to see the 35% bonus soon. I see it has posted very quickly for some people, during the past few weeks. Thanks for the info, everyone.

First time this has happened to me. I made two travel package bookings with Marriott last Monday, the 21st, to squeeze in before the deadline for the 35% bonus. The first was done by 6:30pm, the second at just after 7pm. One credited right on schedule tonight, but the other is in limbo. Bummer, as I now need to top up with the Amex MR points I was hoping to save, as I am too nervous to wait any longer to book the mini-RTW tickets.

Ends up that they goofed up and sent the second package to United instead of Air Canada. Of course it was too late for the bonus Aeroplan points from Aeroplan themselves. They made good though, and put 42K points into my Aeroplan account to make up for the bonus missed. I of course wouldn't have transferred 120K Amex MR points to complete the booking, but I still have more Air Canada trips in mind and am good with this outcome. ^^
