A -200, not -400, but by 1998 the interiors should have been the same. I'm guessing this is business class, not F? It looks like the pre lie flat J class if I remember right.

The "official" inaugural flight was AC856 on April 7, 1992, although it flew earlier in the year on YYZ-YVR (105-148) & YYZ-LAX (791-792) for pilot training runs.

I was fortunate enough to ride on a brand new 747-400 YVR-HNL C-GMWW the "Max Ward" with my wife & kids enroute to Maui just after Canadian had taken
delivery. It had the screens showing the flight progress and stats- state of the art! I was so excited. My wife & kids not so much!
