That, I could accept

(Actually, "DUB returns to its Irish Routes" also makes no sense!)

Figuratively speaking. As in ... going back to Mainline (from Rouge).

Indeed. But, as I said, there is nothing Irish about Mainline. Nor Rouge. So I still don't understand why you chose "Irish Roots" for the title.

Great news!

Although... I'll still personally be doing the short DUB-LHR hop first, since DUB seems to only be getting the A330, and not a new-J plane, and flying via LHR is like... $50 more in J. Easy choice.

& Last used on MXP which changed to 894/895 a few years back.
AC894 / 895 was YYZ-DUB-YYZ pre-Rouge (!)

Great to see the route return to mainline. Rouge was completely uncompetitive transatlantic versus pretty much everyone to DUB except Norwegian. DL, UA, EI, ET and even AA are all lie flat.

I do find the timing a little odd though, going into the winter season

Aer Lingus coming on the route have helped redefined YYZ-DUB as a year round business destination as well as a VFR holiday destination which it traditionally was.
