Thread title should be changed

Serious blow if this stays
Those unannounced changes or "convenient bugs" (no LX, now No Int'l-to-Int'l)

I better book my 2018 flight soon before anymore bugs happen

Duplicate thread?

I did search BRU-FCO today and saw SN options though via Award.Flights
Didn't visit Aeroplan.com to check though

I tried to book an award flight earlier, and they say the IT is down and they can book my ticket!

I quoted your statement to the agent I spoke with, and after an additional fourty minutes on hold, she told me the information that I reported...

Just for clarification to those who have been critical of my choice of words, I'm very polite on the phone and I didn't say one "bad" word until after I got absolute clarification.

WTH is going on??
So the error message on AP's website is not a temp IT/website issue, but an actual devaluation to collect phone booking fees from people?

Any reputable company would post information on their website outlining any website issues preventing members from redeeming their points

Wow.... Not sure what to say now. There isn't even some sort of announcement indicating this update.

This is getting ridiculous.

If they are going to force us to call in to book international awards, shouldn't the phone booking fees be waived as well?

"Aeroplan Members can book flight rewards by visiting the Use Your Miles section of our web site.
Here's how:
If you log in with your Password:
You can complete virtually all reward bookings and get your electronic ticket confirmation sent to you without calling the Aeroplan Contact Centre."

I guess their definition of virtually is up for interpretation.

This is beyond ridiculous. It's bad enough the flight passes I have do not get me to the destination I need....now I can't even book my onward AP rewards tickets.
