unbelievable. it seems the marketing company, on the twitter side, is trying to prove to Air Canada that they met all their milestone goals (I'll bet final payment to them, of high 5 or low 6 figures is withheld if they don't award badges on promised dates). I think AC is innocent here and just getting duped by the marketing vendor.
It seems the joke was on any of us that exerted time, effort, and put other business on hold while following their own terms and conditions of contacting them about missing badges by jan31. not to mention all the legwork of doing the reconciliation work for them, and having to act as a middleman between their own vendor GoGo.

I guess I'm lucky that I got 24 (out of 28) wi-fi badges which posted about 3-4 weeks ago. I sent a total of 15 emails to the EYW team following up before they actually posted.
Next time, they need to just drop the wi-fi since it's obviously too hard for them to sync data from GOGO.
Wi-fi aside it was a good EYW!
The sweet spot was the YTZ-YUL-ORD route in P fare, which was better than the Prairie runs I've had to endure in previous years!
It was fun to fly over a weekend with canadiancow, ruthless, grandbend, expert, 9yearoldsuperelite, zone1boarding!
The threshold for top 10 dropped, while the threshold for 11-30 went up.
This years thresholds were (recording this here, so next year people can look back to see)
Top 10: 100k wings for 1M AP
Position 11-30: 60k wings for 500k AP

As a Canadian, with some knowlage of bowling balls directing the Navy around the Great Lakes, and TCAs ReserVec, them outsourcing this not even a decade ago makes me sad.
The word "gamifying" is new, but FFS, that is what frequent flyer programs have been since Don Draper was bi-coastal.

So I'm supposed to be over 2000 wings and therefore, owed 2000 miles.
What would my next steps be? I've sent multiple emails to the EYW team, as well as the regular CS avenues before winter.
I don't want to come off as a complainer; I just want my miles and then I'll go away.
