United is missing
Don't want to start another thread. Has anyone been able to find any transpac or transatlantic Polaris J seat from UA? I have looked far and wide and nothing. Is this a new change?

Well thanks all for the updates and the heads-up that it was available again. Thankfully it was just in time for my needs.
I burned the last of my Aeroplan points on J on LX YUL-ZRH-DUB. Probably could have gotten a better value somewhere exotic but this is what I needed and I think a pretty good use of the miles.
I feel like not having any Aeroplan miles left is a kind of freedom. It's one less account I need to worry about expiring or getting devalued away and given the news...

Yes, I just booked SFO-FRA in F in June. But I think the trick is to look at United space on UAL.com and then call Aeroplan and feed them the info. United shows more space and options than Aeroplan. But now that we are getting into summer, it's a lot scarcer and your best bet is to look at 48 hours (or even less).

LX is still there today.
I seats available on GVA-JFK tomorrow, no panic.
The LH 'phantom availability' is back with a vengeance. Nothing is confirming and OS appears to be affected as well.
What are the Aeroplan Myths again?
Contact Centre Agents have access to more seats.
As a matter of fact, you have access to the same seats as our agents do by booking through aeroplan.com or through the Aeroplan app*. We can understand the assumption though as our agents have expert training.
BS.

There are unusual large LX availability these days - I was able to book 5 pax in J on LX87/LX86 (YUL-ZRH) for December. The Aeroplan agent I spoke to said it was very rare that 5 reward seats in J were available like that and mentioned that it wasn't possible to book LX through Aeroplan for like 4 months and that maybe this is why there is so much inventory.
Anyway I thought I would pass this info along in case it can be useful to someone.
