$1000 YQ to Europe on AC metal, yes please!!!!
That's precisely my point though. IKK rewards for SE members only and we don't have YQ on AC metal.

Keeps you guys away and gives us more last minute options

I hope you never need to book a parent or friend to another continent.

I agree with you, but it only takes a few bad apples to effect everyone.

Well rules are rules and I understand why they'd implement this.

Perhaps they could change it to accommodate those that are single and allow you to select 2 nominees for IKK rewards. I'm fine with that too.

This would greatly reduce any "selling" opportunities that may exist.

I just need to find someone with the last name Kennedy who wants to buy an IKK ticket.

How do they verify the relationship?

They might want to ask to see if your traveling companion has one of those fabulous T-Shirts you wear - try showing up with spare and see if handing one out to helpful SE smooths the way

And I'm also appreciative that credit card churners have no access to these IKK rewards.
Agreed. Although I have taken a couple of flights with friends just so they could fly tonEurope in J. It gave me an insight to what some employees have to do when they use their passes to fly friends overseas.

Perfect sense, as long as these rules don't apply to you, you seem to understand the need to implement the same.

I'm trying to book a RT ticket YYZ HNL in J. I'd like to book my wife on the AP ticket, and myself on a revenue ticket. based on the eligibility rules for Priority J rewards, is that possible, we will be on the same flights.

You can book. If need priority award can still book providing a) you haven’t used all priority awards you have b) immediate family and c) call in and pay $30. You don’t even need to be on same flights.

That’s my understanding, what it says in this thread and I do it all the time

This would require Air Canada to implement a simple logic rule in their system. Sadly, they don't have IT skills, and so they can't.
