You do know what i mean.
I am not talking about the lack of proper PRE-CONSTRUCTION communication from GTAA and Air Canada.
SFO has a GDP. It has been communicated on their website and on the FAA site and so on. Also, some airlines do mention it in their communications. At least FFs know about it.

I care how change is communicated.
I care how an airline takes care of its customers.
I care that the GTAA and AC "miscalculated"
I care that Ben issued an apology letter

CBC update
This issue heated up this week when Metro Morning reported on one passenger's delay and the response from the GTAA & AC. Predictably, each blamed one another. The interesting thing about the interview with the spokesperson for the GTAA (Hilary) was she indicated that both AC and WS agreed to the plan which - according to her - will disrupt flights for another 8 days.
Gabor Lukacs is now saying the only way to get the carriers to compensate for cancelled flights is to launch a class action lawsuit. I (for one) am going to try the US DOT first as my cancelled flight was to LGA.

Does anyone know if YYZ finished runway construction on May 16 as scheduleded?
If so, we can hopefully see more ontime, fewer cancellations, etc of anything AC related through YYZ.
Any updates? Or should they hang a sign stating "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here."

I do not know if they are done with the construction but I can tell you at least 2 flights to LGA are delayed today afternoon. 1.30pm and the one before. Not sure about others and if the delay is due to YYZ or LGA.

For what it's worth, I overheard a conversation between a GA and what appears to be a frequent traveller last week in YSB and there is some information circulating that the next phase may not occur as planed in October... or at all, as airlines have pushed back given the recent experience...

Future jobs, hopefully, will be easier and be more adaptable to operations. Other airports are able to do resurfacing at night without impacting operations.
