Jazz CR9 C-GDJZ (711) is in new livery and apparently has been since January.

Speaking of Jazz, (Jazz' dedicated charter fleet aside) are there still any Dashes or CRJs left in the Air Canada Jazz livery?

If you mean the red/green/gold maple leaf livery, then yes, some Dash-8 100s still ply the routes in western Canada so adorned.

Cool. I haven't seen any in the east in quite some time. Maybe there are still a couple and I just haven't had the luck of catching them.

Here's a DH3 (C-FSOU) at YVR earlier this afternoon loading up for YCD. Apologies for the poor quality, I blame the dirty windows

Looks like the 319 you're sitting in needs a bit of repainting itself.

Along with C-FSOU I know DH3 C-FRUZ is also in the old Jazz livery (red I believe) but it's in heavy maintenance right now so maybe it won't when it comes out. Those might be the only two left as I believe as of last year all the DH1s have been repainted or retired (there's only 16 left!)

I did see a Red-leaf -100 at YVR in the past few weeks, but didn't take note of the reg/fin number. Now I'm wondering if it was indeed a -100 rather than a -300, but I'm fairly sure of my recollection. At any rate, I'll keep eyes peeled. I've not seen any raccoon Q400s in the west yet.

Where does Jazz do their heavy maintenance?

I know for at least the the dash's they do a good amount (if not all) in Halifax. They are currently the only maintenance op certified to do that new life extension on the DH3s that'll give them a few more years of flying. The 100s should all be gone within the next ~5 years but the 300s will kick around for a while

Halifax is the only Jazz heavy maintance base after the closure of London a few years ago. The 2 -300s that are certainly still in the old Jazz livery are fins 327 and 328 which are the two charter aircraft, that can be subed in where needed. Note these are Jazz titled they don't say Air Canada, just Jazz.

E75 C-FEJB (373) is up to YQA for repaint. Also, 7M8s C-FSIL (508) and C-FSIQ (510) have been delivered.

EDIT: Q400 C-GYJZ (431) is in new paint. C-GGFP (421) next up to YQA I believe. Could wrong on that one can't seem to find out for sure but it looks like this one.

LOL! I'd call that 'Rouge lite' or 'Rouge clair' en français. :P

how certain are you that 100s exist in the West? I was told a while back that it’s only 300s & 400s out west
