Jazz CRJ-200 C-GJZZ (161) has left CYQA in new colours. C-FDJA (162) looks like the next CRJ heading there for repainting tomorrow. Not many birds in the old Jazz livery anymore!

If so, why not just paint the whole thing white? Or all red? AC chose pretty much the worst possible option.

I'd say there's a good chance that most of them won't be re-painted, seeing as how the vast majority are over 25 years old.

I just came down to SYD on Fin 706.

The 777 looks good in the new paint. The engines are especially impressive from the J lav while in flight

Would that be the mile-high and inch-wide club?

I don't want to sound pedantic but after all, this is FT and I noticed that there seems to be some variation in the "masks" around the flight deck windows on these 321s. I wonder if the first photo will be the new norm?

(Photos are not my own)

Interesting. The 77L that was just re-painted has the straighter mask... that 321 with the more curvy mask seems to be the outlier (for now anyway)!

The recently delivered 7M8 also has the straighter mask... Will be interesting to see what the remaining 321s are painted with.
Perhaps the new livery has adopted the same philosophy as the rest of the company: consistently inconsistent

It's too bad the registration is out of view so we can't see which of these was painted more recently. Once C-FGKZ gets out of the shop, there'll actually only be 2 A321s left to go and one of them is in the Star Alliance livery so it'll be interesting to see what they do with that.

A321 C-FGKZ (463) has left KGUS in new livery. C-GIUB (453) has taken her spot in the paint booth at KGUS. By my count she was the last A321 in the old livery as the remaining one is the SA livery.

Apologies if this has been discussed before but are the B1900Ds getting the new livery? They haven't been displayed on the AC website or the enRoute mag for a while yet they are still serving a number of routes. Anyone know what's going on? It's like AC is distancing themselves from the BEH fleet.

They have been ignored for as long as I can remember; this is not new.

Unless AC can find another similar sized plane to do runs from YHZ to New Brunswick and PEI, within Newfoundland & Labrador, and a host of flights from YYZ, YYC, and elsewhere, these planes are not going anywhere.

Are they getting the old livery?

I've been on quite a few EVAS-branded planes in the past few years.

IIRC they used to have the (old) AC express livery but have since been (partially) stripped of those titles in favour of EVAS branding.

Not to be off topic but as for a potential replacement, Cessna just came out with a new plane that may work: http://cessna.txtav.com/en/turboprop/skycourier.
