Some were handed out at a YYC Do in July 2015, that's where I got mine.

A few concierges and other AC staff have noticed mine and thought it was cool. But probably fewer than 10 have commented on it.

Could we get some AC FT ones made? I find the regular FT ones horrendously gaudy.

There's an upside to the FT tags: I place them on my checked baggage (in the rare event I check baggage) and the bright neon yellow tags allow me to spot my typical black suitcase form a distance.

I've met quite a few FT'ers for meet ups and in the US/INTL but only met three specific to this subforum and randomly while travelling:

mpc7488(looks like he moved to SEA and hasn't been active in a couple years)
jlisi984(technically belongs in the celebrity sighting thread )
tigersan

Sharing Singapore Slings with 24Left at the SQ lounge in HKG right now. Randomly talking at the bar before we figured out who we were on FT.

I thought this thread was about unplanned/happenstance encounters, specifically spawned from the Canadian Celebrity Sightings thread.

Do people here plan to meet up with the Prime Minister or William Shatner?

I mean, if we can include planned meetings like DOs, then many of us will have posts listing potentially dozens to hundreds of FTers we have met based on planned public/private gatherings.

But whatever the scope is, I'm game. I sense that 24left wants to provide a list of 1,000 FTers.

Randomly talking...."to yourself" at the bar? Then you looked over each other's shoulder and noticed you were both on FT...

Is that what happened? LOL

Not "always"

(yes, I understand that a <4 hour connection where I have no plans to enter the country are not conducive for meeting up with someone )

I should have just bough a $40 one way ticket to KUL to get through security so we could grab a drink. That is my plan for next time.
