link still works for me... just have to read the post carefully I think.

Of course, it bears no value to me as I have no status and would never care about eUp priorities...

Yea, no. Refund, book OAL. On that high a fare, I expect the oversell to be rectified in my favour.

I don't do standby... I just fly what I buy. I love MLL time.

So I find this to be mildly amusing. Mostly because of a chat I had with someone at AC who said they'd like to open up things like this. This was partly in the context of the effort I had to go through to get a machine-readable flight schedule for EYW (and I don't think I was the one who brought that up in this discussion). But it sounded like at least some people would like to make all this data available. Though they'd have to win against legal/marketing/RM/etc.

This AWS instance seems to have identical information to the Android app. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's interesting, but as an Android user, I'm not convinced it offers me anything more than the app.

Have you heard any more on that front? (machine-readable info)

I have not.

Nor have I. I sent him an email about an unrelated matter but never heard back.

Is either link working for anyone? One's giving me a DNS error and the other is just a blank page.

As flyquiet pointed out, you need R space. I don't know what the loads were yesterday when you posted it, but looks like it's R2 on the outbound now, so you may want to try again, if you didn't get waitlisted yesterday:

AC188: J6 C6 D6 Z5 P5 R2

Doesn't look good for the return though:

AC189: J1 C0 D0 Z0 P0 R0

They fixed a bug.

J standby was showing at the top of the public list, even though it's lower priority than eUpgrades.

It's now at the bottom. I don't agree it should work this way, but it's nice to see the public list matching the real list.

Why not? Anyone with a confirmed reservation on the said flight has priority over anyone on standby. This has been the rule since day 1, which is way before you and I were born.

Because it makes no sense from a business perspective, on a flight that's wide open in Y, to put the P25K on a G fare into J, and someone (any/no status) on a J fare into Y.

I don't even understand how "it's always worked this way" is even an argument. At one point, that was probably said about why women shouldn't be allowed to vote. Things can change for the better.

People buy flexible tickets to make last minute changes (like walking up to a gate before the onload list is processed), and shouldn't be penalized with a downgrade.
