Does anyone know whether or not we get points on UA codeshare with US?

Only if you put the miles in UA Mileage Plus or US Dividend Miles.

Starting March 1st, UA Elites will be recognized on US metal and vice versa.

Miles on both airlines already count for status and elite bonuses.

UA has their code on all US flights between BUF and PIT/PHL/CLT and beyond. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

FlyerAl, will our AC Elite/*A Gold be recognized by US Air? Will we be allowed to us the US Air lounge BUF lounge when travelling on UA or US Air?

No - at least not until US Airways joins the Star Alliance, which won't happen until late 2003 or early 2004 at the earliest.

Currently only UA Mileage Plus elites and Red Carpet Club members are entitled to benefits when flying US.

Interesting. Do UA see themselves remaining in *A post C11? Does *A already support US joining or is this still up in the air?
