NYC Mini-Do

So knotseh and I were talking about meeting up... and he suggested perhaps even making it a Mini-DO

So I haven't been to a DO before, but I'm up for trying to organize one :) Who wants to come?

EDIT:
Nov 11th 2016
We're avoiding the holidays since people have family plans and it'll be more expensive for flights.

Assuming I get to the IB interview round, I will be there :P

*removed since not relevant to DO*

I think we need to make this a wiki. :)

November after the elections would be good! I'm assuming most on FT AC are Canadian so we can muse at the results....possible deportation of Canadians? Joking...

Have one soon so you can justify another in mid to late December when I'm in town :)

I think we're flexible...

People! Post when you're free, and whether you prefer weekday/weekend?

Thanks!

Very flexible....we could do one in December!

Might be able to do December, weekend.
It could end up being very cheap after the 8th.

Or how does one organize a mini-do? :)

1) The grassroots democracy approach: invite everyone to suggest a time and place, get 30 different responses, analyze responses, post a poll, get criticized for said poll, analyze results, cancel DO due to a lack of consensus

2) the efficient approach: tell people when and where the DO will take place and have a great DO with fellow FTers

It's entirely up to you.:p
