Air Canada Altitude Skyriders (EYW for kids?)

As part of the whole crap show that is the beta.aircanada.com website, I discovered another interesting website:

https://skyriders.aircanada.com

Apparently the skyriders thingy is for kids aged 2 to 12 years old, they are given a logbook and have the opportunity to collect badges. Other than that details are kinda thin on the program, registration isn't available yet and there are not very many revealing clues about the program in the T&Cs.

Has anyone else come across this or have more insight?

How is this not cheapening the Altitude brand?

Brainwashing the next generation?

Seriously, this looks like a really cool initiative. The logbook itself is just a great thing for kids to look back on when they're older.

I wonder when it'll launch.

Special Accomplishment Badges for kids

Hmm. Will the 7yr old super elite from EyW find the stickers more valuable than super elite status and million aeroplan mile prize?

This.

But, ultimately I'll just envy JtP Jr. when I get her one.

LOL at the video, where the happy family walks into T1 holding the kids hands and looking all bright eyed and bushy tailed. Where is the baggage?!

They've checked everything - for a nominal fee - and the kids will be perfectly content gazing upon their three new stickers throughout the 14-hour flight to Hong Kong.

Silly program.

Seems to me like half of FT qualifies for it already.
