YYZ Transborder via YVR - what is the procedure now?
All
I have done a search but no luck... we are flying YYZ-YVR-PDX next week ... with the new transborder setup at YYZ, where do we check in? Can we check our bag through to PDX, or do we still have to collect it in order to clear US procedures at YVR?
If any knows and can share, thanks

YYZ has nothing to do with Transborder in your case, since you are flying through to YVR
Your YYZ-YVR is domestic, you clear customs in YVR
edit: and your bag will be checked through

Worst as in slowest time to pass? Worst because they miss too many prohibited items? Or worst as in you don't approve of the decor? What constitutes 'worst' for you?
I'm guessing #1. I clear security (Nexus lane) in YVR C pier on a biweekly basis. If it takes me 5 minutes, I consider that unusually slow. It generally takes no more than 10 min from curb to gate, including the time it takes to deviate and print a BP at a kiosk prior to security. I find YEG domestic is just as quick.

YYZ, YOW, YYC and YEG are far worse IME. In YOW some of them don't even know how to operate the scanners properly.

When I asked about going airside for true Nexus, several FT posters said they do it all the time and it's faster.
