AC 876 10 July - any idea what is going on?

This flight (AC 876 YYZ-FRA 10 July) was reasonably open for booking recently then when I checked around noon today (Jul 9th) it was showing

J0 C0 D0 Z0 P0 R0 O4 E0 N0 Y0 B0 M0 UC HC QC VC WC SC TC LC KC

(and still is)

Then when I went to do OLCI on the dot at at T-24 I found I was number 105 instead of the usual quite low number.

A sudden influx of connecting pax from somewhere that weren't on this flight until very, very recently ?

Operating as a 787-9. Was it a possible downgrade from a 77W?

Bear in mind that as the late Europe flights, 876 (FRA) and 858 (LHR) are often the protection flights for misconnections @ YYZ.

Anyone coming in to connect on AC876 would have been able to check-in to this flight ahead of you.

Nope. Planned as 787-9 during the entire month of July.

How often are misconnects identified at T-24?

I'm not arguing, I'm curious.

It is often possible for connecting passengers to check in somewhat before the 24 hours. Perhaps a large group of connecting people?

When that's the only flight open / airport agents are willing to rebook on, perhaps?

This was zeroed out at least by T-36 which is what first made me wonder and then the 105 at T-24 was much higher than I had ever seen before. That's a lot of connecting passengers who have already checked in. I guess I might get some sense of what is going on tonight.
