Question Recommandations for AP booking (YQB or YUL to HNL)

Hi all,

Hope it's okay to post here about tips for this booking...

Looking for:
YQB or YUL to HNL

Based in YQB but can travel easily to YUL.
2 adults (AC E50K for me and regular AC for my wife)
23/08 to 7/09 or about 14-16 days near those dates
I have about 125k miles currently
Preferably not Rouge.

Any other way than from AP site to look about available flights? I found some United, AC and AC Rouge flights...

Thanks everyone!

The availability calender looks wide open to me. YUL-SFO-HNL and return, a nice 1.5 hr connection at SFO (its domestic, so no customs!). You can add 1 stopover to that as well. I didn't bother checking YQB, but that's pretty straightforward to check for the add-on.

Any issue in particular you're having? Looks like a pretty straightforward booking to me,

HNL from YVR has been rouged.

According to a quick expertflyer search looks like everything from YQB is a triple connection. From YUL I would grab the early am UA flight to EWR and the non-stop to HNL. Some days you can also do it from IAD as well.
Its a 767-400 2-3-2 in Y so not horrible, Lie flat in front.

As A fellow YQBer, we are pretty much screwed! It is much "easier" to fly out of YUL of to do an overnigh in YUL or YYZ.

Enjoy your stay in HNL!

avoid Rouge, no matter what! get as quick as possible to United, to avoid AC scam fees.
If you can do at least one way in Business class on a UA layflat seat (iad or EWR) even ORD has some nice barco loungers seats on its 777.

take a look at this seat sale for Business class...http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/premi...-lie-flat.html

more alternatives

I 2nd all of the recommendations (sic!) to avoid Rouge.

Is HNL your final destination? If not, please note that UA operates to all of the major airports (KOA, LIH, ITO, KOA) i.e. you may want to consider an open jaw?

Final point - you are permitted a stopover on reward travel. SFO?
